If I had something come up and can no longer host my event or attend my class can I get a refund?

Cancellation of your attendance at a class can be done via email or phone 48 hours prior to the event.  With 48 hours prior notice, you will receive a full refund, or you can reschedule your place at another class on our calendar.

If something comes up unexpectedly within 24 hours notice, please call us at 317-759-4278 to inform us. You will be able to reschedule your place at another class on our calendar.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in loss of your payment or forfeiture of your voucher.

Classes

Can A Painter Under 18 Years Attend Adult Classes?

Our adult classes for students 18 years of age and up. Most classes are at our Carmel studio but you can find some at local bars and restaurants around Indy. Some of these offsite classes will allow us to invite our students under 18 years of age. Please see the event for details or email us at info@paint-cellar.com to confirm.

Is the cost of materials included in the price of the class?

Unless otherwise specified,  all materials are included.

Is there a class minimum?

We require a minimum of 5 people to hold a class.  Classes with 5 or less students registered may be subject to cancellation.  You will be contacted via email or phone in regards to class cancellations.

May I attend a children’s class with my son or daughter?

Of course you can!

What is “Open Studio?”

OPEN STUDIO Now Every Thursday and Friday through December!  Come and go as you please.  This is not a structured class.  All ages welcome! Choose your painting or create your own.  The paint bar is open so pick your own colors and make it your own.  An instructor will be on hand to answer any questions. You can even bring and complete a painting that you once started.

Feel free to bring a snack to enjoy! Complimentary sodas, coffee and bottles of water are available. All supplies are included.

11×14 canvas $10

8×10 canvas  $5
Your canvas our paints $5

No payment due at this time. Pay upon arrival. We accept cash and all major debit/credit cards. If you have a large group joining you we recommend that you reserve your easels online just to hold your seats. Walk-ins are also welcome. Food and Beverages

Am I allowed to bring food and beverages?

Yes! We encourage it.  Painting is more fun with something to eat and drink with your friends. Alcohol is NOT allowed during our kids or family classes.  We also can not provide you with cups, ice or bottle openers.

Payment

For private parties, can my guests pay for their seat individually?

Yes absolutely.  Please ask our event coordinator for details.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Both cash and all major credit cards are accepted.

Policies

Photo Release

The Paint Cellar may take photographs to be used for promotional purposes including sharing on social media. If you do not wish to be included in photographs, please let your instructor know at the time you check-in for your class that you do not wish to be included in the photos that are taken during that class. We cannot guarantee that you will not appear in these photos once they are published if you do not let us know prior to your event.

Store Closing Policy

In the event of severe weather that could affect safety or access to The Paint Cellar studio, the Manager will ultimately have the final authority to close. If this should happen, students of all classes for the day will be contacted by 2pm via email and/or telephone. Customers will have the opportunity to reschedule at no cost, or receive a full refund.

In the case that Carmel district schools are closed, The Paint Cellar will also be closed for the day. If Carmel district schools are on a delay, the manager will again have the final decision.

Private Parties
